sadly passed away at QEII Hospital on 30th March so soon after celebrating his 100th birthday on 2nd March 2009. Funeral service on Thursday, 9th April 2009 at All Saints Church, Hertford at 3.15pm followed by cremation at Harwood Park, Stevenage. Donations for the British Heart Foundation may be sent to Austins, 12 Millbridge, Hertford. Many thanks to the staff at Beane River View for their excellent care.
